Esja Engineering is a service provider for power plants and utility companies, headquartered in Iceland. The company specializes in the production of mechanical parts and on-site service, with deep expertise in geothermal power plants, including steam turbines and deepwell pumps. Esja Engineering is a technical service company for power plants, utility companies and other operators that rely on the safe operation of critical mechanical equipment. We specialize in the production and supply of mechanical parts, technical advisory services and on-site service.

We take on projects of different sizes and types, with a focus on cost-effective, safe and high-quality solutions that support reliable and stable customer operations. Our services are broadly divided into three categories: mechanical parts, on-site service and remote support.

Mechanical Parts Production

We produce mechanical parts according to 2D or 3D drawings. If drawings are not available, we have skilled technicians and advanced equipment for measurement and preparation of manufacturing drawings.

On-site service

Within our service offering, we take on defined projects, regular service assignments, or work side by side with our customers when additional capacity, specialist expertise or temporary support is needed.

Our team has extensive experience in the service and repair of pump equipment, rotors, diaphragms and other mechanical equipment used in power plants. We support projects from troubleshooting and condition assessment through to defining the recommended repair scope.

Whether the task involves NDT inspection, welding, heat treatment, condition assessment, repair preparation or the supply of spare parts, customers can rely on the knowledge, experience and professionalism of our team.

Remote Support

Services where our team does not need to be continuously on site. The work may include project preparation, design, custom equipment fabrication, equipment procurement, process review or development, remote monitoring and preparation of maintenance plans.
